Synopsis

Equal parts humor and pathos, this is an ensemble portrait of a tightly-knit cluster of friends, all of whom are forced to embrace change as their small-town way of life is encroached upon. The booze, brawls, personal tragedies and romantic triumphs intertwine artfully with the cultural and economic realities of 1970s Long Island clam diggers.
