Synopsis

Brian de Palma’s most controversial film to date, REDACTED is loosely based on the real-life Mahmudiyah killings in Iraq and, through a video montage, follows the stories of the US soldiers involved. We see war put these men in impossible situations, where they must struggle with their own morals in the face of gross atrocity.
